Google a commencé à déployer une nouvelle vérification d'âge obligatoire sur le Play Store. Poussé par de nouvelles lois américaines (Texas, Utah), Google demandera une pièce d'identité, un selfie, ou une carte de crédit pour confirmer que l'utilisateur est majeur avant de télécharger certaines apps. Cette mesure, similaire à celle de YouTube, suscite déjà de vives inquiétudes pour la vie privée.
