JAZAN — Border Guard patrols in the Al-Ardah sector of the Jazan region arrested an Ethiopian national for violating border security regulations. He was caught attempting to smuggle 65,685 prescription pills and 60 kilograms of hashish. Security authorities confirmed that initial legal procedures had been completed against the violator, and that he and the seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation. Security authorities urged the public to report any information they may have regarding drug trafficking or distribution activities by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province; 999 in the rest of the Kingdom; 994 for the Border Guard; 995 for the General Directorate of Narcotics Control; or via email at 995@gdnc.gov.sa.
