Guided by the Chinese Olympic Committee, the event aimed to unite Chinese athletes, promote the Olympic spirit, and foster international cultural dialogue. The evening featured a return appearance by the Malanhua Children's Choir, whose performance of "Ode to the Olympics" had captivated audiences during the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Games. International Olympic Committee President Kirsty Coventry and Chinese long-track speed skater Zhang Hong, the Sochi 2014 gold medalist, were among the distinguished guests in attendance.
