RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman have donated a total of SR70 million to the sixth edition of the National Campaign for Charitable Work. A total of SR646 million has been raised on the first day of the campaign, which was launched through the National Platform for Charitable Work (Ehsan), in Riyadh on Friday.The King donated SR40 million, while the Crown Prince’s donation amounted to SR30 million. The donations are an extension of the generous and unlimited support and commitment from the part of the wise leadership for fostering charitable work in the Kingdom. On its first day alone, the platform processed over 1.8 million transactions, demonstrating the deep-rooted culture of generosity within Saudi society. Ehsan Supervisory Committee Chairman Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the King and the Crown Prince for their generous donations.Ehsan Chief Executive Officer Eng. Ibrahim Al-Husseini expressed appreciation for the continuous support the platform receives from the Saudi leadership. Ehsan platform continues to receive donations throughout the month of Ramadan from individuals and organizations across the governmental, private, and non-profit sectors via the platform’s website (http://ehsan.sa), mobile application, unified number 8001247000, and designated bank accounts.
