RAMALLAH — Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas received Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan on Monday as the Saudi envoy presented his credentials as non-resident ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Palestine.During the ceremony, held at the Palestinian Presidential Guesthouse, Prince Mansour conveyed the greetings and appreciation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, prime minister of Saudi Arabia, to President Abbas.The Palestinian president asked the envoy to convey his greetings and appreciation in return to the Saudi leadership.Abbas expressed deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s leading role in supporting Arab and Islamic causes, particularly the Palestinian cause, and wished the Saudi ambassador success in his duties to further strengthen bilateral relations across all fields.The credential ceremony was attended by President Abbas’ diplomatic adviser Majdi Khaldi, Palestinian Ambassador to Jordan Attallah Khairy, and Director of Protocol and Ceremonies at the Palestinian Presidency Ambassador Hussein Hussein.
