JEDDAH — The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) issued red alerts for heavy rain and thunderstorms capable of causing flash floods for Makkah, Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha on Sunday. Meanwhile, orange alerts were issued for moderate rain in parts of Jazan Region, including Jazan and Al-Darb, as well as raised dust in parts of Makkah Region. For temperatures, Madinah is forecast to record the highest temperature at 44°C, followed by Buraidah at 42°C and Makkah at 41°C. Riyadh, Dammam, Hail and Arar are expected to reach 40°C, while Sakaka is forecast at 39°C, Jazan at 38°C, Jeddah and Najran at 37°C, and Tabuk at 36°C.
