KATHMANDU — The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and the government of Nepal signed an agreement to promote air transport services between the two countries. GACA was represented by Executive Vice President for Air Transport and International Cooperation Ali Rajab in signing the agreement while the government of Nepal was represented by Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Jaya Narayan Acharya in a ceremony held in Kathmandu, capital of Nepal, on Monday. The agreement aimed to establish a safe and orderly framework for air transport between the two countries, while keeping pace with developments in bilateral regulation. As part of the official visit, Rajab met with Nepal's Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadak Raj Paudel to discuss cooperation in civil aviation and tourism.
