JEDDAH — Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held a trilateral meeting in Jeddah on Monday with Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.The meeting reviewed regional developments and the implications of the ongoing military escalation, including risks to international maritime navigation, energy supply security, and the global economy.The leaders discussed ways to coordinate joint efforts to enhance regional security and stability.They stressed that continued Iranian attacks targeting Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Jordan, including strikes on vital and civilian facilities, represent a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability.The meeting was attended by Deputy Emir of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal, Minister of State and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, President of General Intelligence Khalid Al-Humaidan, and Royal Court Secretary Dr. Bandar Al-Rasheed.From the Jordanian side, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, and Royal Court Chief Alaa Batayneh attended.From the Qatari side, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Interior Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, Amiri Diwan Chief Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and several officials were present.
