JEDDAH — Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received phone calls from the leaders of Spain, Mauritania and Uzbekistan, who expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia amid ongoing regional developments.During a call with King Felipe VI of Spain, discussions focused on the latest developments in the region and their impact on regional and international security.The Spanish king affirmed his country’s support for the Kingdom and its measures to safeguard its sovereignty and security.In a separate call, Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani discussed the serious developments in the region and the implications of the ongoing escalation.He expressed Mauritania’s solidarity and support for Saudi Arabia and its efforts to protect its sovereignty, security and stability.The Crown Prince also received a call from Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during which they reviewed the military escalation in the region.The Uzbek president condemned the repeated attacks targeting the Kingdom and reaffirmed his country’s support for Saudi Arabia.
