Samsung hasn't made the Galaxy S25 official yet, but the pricing of the phones in the lineup has leaked. The company has reportedly decided to keep the same prices of the entry-level storage variants of the phone, but the 512GB version could be priced slightly higher.
According to a report from FNNews, Samsung has decided on pricing for all the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra variants for the South Korean market. Apparently, the pricing of the 256GB variants of the phones will stay the same as the Galaxy S24 series. However, the prices of 512GB variants could be higher.
The Galaxy S25 is claimed to launch with a price tag of KRW 1,155,000 (~$796), while the Galaxy S25+ will reportedly be priced at KRW 1,353,000 (~$933). The Galaxy S25 Ultra's 256GB is said to cost KRW 1,698,400 (~1,171). These prices are the same as the 256GB variants of Galaxy S24 series devices.
The 512GB versions of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will reportedly cost KRW 1,313,400 (~$906), KRW 1,511,400 (~$1,042), and KRW 1,856,800 (~$1,280), respectively.
If this information is correct, the Galaxy S25 costs KRW 25,400 (~$18) higher than the Galaxy S24 for the 512GB model. The Galaxy S25+ and the Galaxy S25 Ultra cost KRW 15,400 (~$11) higher than the Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Despite a 20% price hike for the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, pricier components, and weaker KRW-USD rates, Samsung has reportedly decided to absorb the higher manufacturing cost to improve the adoption of Galaxy AI.
All three phones will run Android 15-based One UI 7.0 software out of the box. You can learn more about it in our video below.
Reports indicate that Samsung will open pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series on January 22. Pre-orders will start shipping on February 3, while general availability is rumored to start on February 9.
