A few weeks before the release of the One UI 7.0 beta update, Samsung has accidentally revealed the new app icon for one of its stock apps: Samsung Kids.
The latest version (12.6.01.8) of the Samsung Kids app, which was recently uploaded to APKMirror (spotted by @tarunvats33), brings a new app icon. Going with the whole UI design theme of One UI 7.0, the new app icon has a color gradient scheme that uses hues of blue and purple.
The new app icon also uses a logo of a younger-looking baby compared to the existing app icon. Earlier reports indicated that Samsung would be introducing improved Parental Controls feature. However, we don't know what those improvements would be.
Alongside new and improved Parental Controls, the new app icon for Samsung Kids brings a much-needed visual overhaul.
It is expected that Samsung will release the first One UI 7.0 beta update in the next couple of weeks. The update will likely be released first for the Galaxy S24 series and then for the Galaxy S23 series. The update could be released in South Korea and the US first and then to China, India, Germany, Poland, and the UK.
