Last month, Samsung ended the One UI 6 Watch Beta Program for the Galaxy Watch 6 and released the stable update for beta testers. So, many users thought the stable update could be released within a matter of days.
However, it appears that Samsung has now released another beta update for the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 5.
Samsung has just released the One UI 6 Watch Beta 8 update to the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 5 in the USA. The update comes with firmware version ending ZXK1. According to the official changelog, the update improves the system's stability and optimizes its performance.
The update also solves high battery usage issues, which results in longer battery life. It also improves network performance for LTE versions of Galaxy Watches. There are some other improvements and bug fixes that Samsung hasn't pinpointed.
This could be the last One UI 6 Watch beta update for the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 5. It could be released in other markets where the beta program was opened, and after 1-2 weeks, the stable One UI 6 Watch update could be released globally.
The One UI 6 Watch update brings several new features, including personalized health tips, powered by Galaxy AI. It also brings the new Double Pinch gesture for quick actions, new toggle icons, a new charging animation, new Quick Panel design, new UI for ongoing activities, custom workout routines, and more.
