The Galaxy S25 Ultra is the most powerful smartphone Samsung has ever made. It uses Qualcomm's most advanced chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and has a 40% larger vapor chamber than the 2024 Ultra model.
Samsung demonstrated the power of the Galaxy S25 Ultra live on YouTube and Twitch. On January 25, the company hosted the third #PlayGalaxy Cup in San Francisco. It's a gaming event where pro mobile gamers compete and popular video game streamers converge.
The name of the game was Call of Duty: Mobile. The event had two of North America's premiere eSports teams compete. Pro players from Tribe Gaming and Luminosity Gaming played the game on the Galaxy S25 Ultra and used Galaxy Buds 3 earbuds and JBL Quantum ONE headphones.

The venue for #PlayGalaxy Cup: The Greatest Rivalry was packed with more than 250 fans, who could watch the in-game battles on a large screen at the center of the arena. The event was also streamed live.
Call of Duty: Mobile is one of the most demanding mobile games, but with Vulkan optimization and the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the Galaxy S25 Ultra delivered seamless gameplay and what Samsung calls “a true-to-life graphic experience.”
Between matches, fans could also experience the Galaxy S25 Ultra in a hands-on zone Samsung prepared at the event. As it happens, we also had a hands-on session with the flagship phone at Galaxy Unpacked last month. You can check it out in the video below. Stay tuned for our full review.
