You must have heard by now that the Galaxy S25 Ultra S Pen doesn't support any Bluetooth features. Diehard Galaxy Note/S Pen fans did not take kindly to this downgrade, which is understandable, even if Samsung's claim that less than 1% of users took advantage of the S Pen's Bluetooth features is based in fact and isn't just an excuse.
But is Samsung selling a Bluetooth-enabled S Pen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra as an optional accessory? An article highlighting some of the best S Pen features that was published on the Samsung Business Insights website, which is run by Samsung USA, is claiming just that. Amazon listings for the official Galaxy S25 Ultra S Pen in some countries also mention Bluetooth support.
Well, we hate to be the bearers of bad news, but there is no Bluetooth S Pen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. While the Samsung Business Insights website is run by Samsung, the articles published there come from freelance contributors. And in this case, the author appears to have made an inaccurate claim that's not based on official information provided by Samsung.
As for the Amazon listings, that may be a result of the retailer copy pasting the specs and details from listings for the S Pen that came with previous Galaxy S Ultra smartphones. The stylus listed on Amazon has the same product code as the one listed on Samsung's official website, and the latter does not mention Bluetooth support.
Perhaps the best evidence for all this is that Samsung said nothing about the optional Bluetooth S Pen at the Galaxy Unpacked event in the US or at any of the local media briefings and events the company held for the Galaxy S25 series in other countries.
Still, we have reached out to the company for clarification and will let you know as soon as we get a response, so stay tuned!
