Samsung launched its latest entry-level smartphone, the Galaxy A08 4G, last month. A previous leak suggested that the brand is also planning to launch a 5G version of the device. Now, the upcoming phone has surfaced online.
The Galaxy A08 5G has been spotted in an IMEI database (via SammyGuru). The listing confirms that the device exists and suggests that its development has progressed further and Samsung is preparing to bring it to the market soon.
Speaking of the launch timeline, an earlier leak claimed that Samsung would launch the Galaxy A08 5G in February 2027. If that information is accurate, we will have to wait around three more months for the phone to arrive.
While details about the Galaxy A08 5G’s features and specifications remain unknown, we expect it to offer hardware similar to that of the 4G model, with 5G connectivity being the key difference.
