Samsung has started the global rollout of the One UI 7.0 update for the Galaxy A35. The update is now available in Europe. It was released in South Korea a couple of weeks ago and it could expand to other countries and regions in the next few weeks.

A major software update is now available for the Galaxy A35. It brings Android 15 and One UI 7.0 to the mid-range phone that was launched early last year. It is the first major software update that has arrived for the smartphone. The update comes with firmware version A356BXXU4BYDC and has a download size of around 3.5GB. It includes the April 2025 security patch and not the latest patch.
If you have a Galaxy A35 and live in any European country, you should check for the new update right now. You can do that by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
Once the new firmware file is available in our database shortly, you can choose the manual firmware flashing process. You need to download the appropriate file from our firmware database and flash it manually using a computer running Windows OS and the Odin tool.
The update brings a redesigned UI, featuring separate pages for Notifications and Quick Panel. Quick Panel is now a lot more customizable, while notifications are now bigger and stacked. It also brings new app icons for all stock apps, smoother animations and transitions, a new charging animation, and a new battery icon. All stock apps have received new features.
The stock Camera app now has a new UI design that is easier to access with one hand. Quick Share has also been improved. Modes & Routines have new conditions and features. There are improvements to privacy and security as well.
The Galaxy A35 was launched in early 2024 with Android 14 and One UI 6.1 onboard. It received the One UI 6.1.1-based update with Circle To Search in the second half of last year. Now, it has received the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update. Before the end of this year, it will get the Android 16-based One UI 8.0 update. The phone will get two more Android OS updates after that.
