Samsung’s latest lineup of flagship phones, the Galaxy S25 series, brings many new features. Among them are new Galaxy AI features, which make your life easier. However, for people of India, there’s something else in the store with regard to Galaxy AI.
Galaxy AI supports around twenty languages, and one of them is Hindi, the national language of India. Well, Galaxy AI on Galaxy S25 series phones will support seven additional Indian languages.
Yesterday, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in India, where Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series in the country, Samsung’s Vice President of Product Marketing at MX Division, Aditya Babbar, announced that Galaxy AI will soon support seven more Indian languages: Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
It is a great piece of news for Samsung fans in India who want to interact with Galaxy AI but don’t know how to read/write/speak English or prefer their mother tongue over a foreign-origin language. Being able to use Galaxy AI in their mother tongue is a big deal.

With that announcement, Galaxy AI now supports a total of 27 languages. We expect Samsung to extend the support for the seven new Indian languages to Galaxy AI on older devices with a software update (or through new language packs).
