Samsung released the One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S23 series a few days ago. However, it didn't include all the new features that debuted with the Galaxy S25. Today, Samsung revealed the list of Galaxy AI features that won't be available on the Galaxy S23 with the One UI 7.0 update.
While the Galaxy S23 will get the new UI design, all the improved stock apps, Drawing Assist, and Writing Assist with the One UI 7.0 update, it won't get two Galaxy AI features: Audio Eraser and Natural Language Search. These features are reserved for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy Tab S10 series.
Audio Eraser is powered by Galaxy AI. It uses the phone's built-in NPU to identify up to six types of sounds in a video. After identifying those sounds, you can increase or decrease their volume. You can even completely mute the sounds you don't want in your video. For example, you can mute wind noise or remove the voices of people in the background.
Natural Language Search in the Settings app in One UI 7.0 lets you search for things using your natural sentences. For example, if you type “my eyes hurt” in the Settings app's search bar, the phone will display Dark More and Eye Comfort Mode settings so that you can activate them.

Samsung has already released the first beta version of One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S23 series. It will likely release a couple of more beta updates before releasing the stable version next month (April 2025).
