Last week, Samsung revealed that it received 10% more pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series than it did for the Galaxy S24 lineup in South Korea. Well, as it turns out, it is a similar story in one of the brand’s largest markets around the globe, India.
Samsung has announced that it received 430,000 pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series in India, which is 20% higher than the pre-orders it had received for the Galaxy S24 series.
The tech giant also shared a picture from one of its 17,000 outlets in the country where people queued up on 7 February 2025 to take the deliveries of the Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung has revealed that one of the places it is manufacturing the Galaxy S25 series is its factory in Noida, India. That’s most likely the place from where it is supplying the new lineup of phones to Indian consumers, as it is cheaper than importing devices from other countries.
The tech giant pointed out that, on the Galaxy S25 series, Google Gemini will offer support for one of India’s national languages, Hindi, out of the box, as we had reported earlier, showing that India and the preferences of its customers in the country are important to the brand.

Commenting on the achievement, Samsung India’s Senior Vice President for the MX Division, Raju Pullan said “Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 smartphones set a new standard as true AI companions with Samsung’s most natural and context-aware mobile experiences ever created. We have seen strong demand for the Galaxy S25 series among young tech-savvy consumers, who are at the forefront of Galaxy AI usage. This year, we widened our flagship distribution network to 17,000 outlets, which has helped us tap demand in smaller cities.”
