Samsung is reportedly gearing up to release a new series of Fan Edition Galaxy tablets very soon. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ may go on sale within the next two weeks, and both tablets have now leaked in renders (via WinFuture). Here's everything you need to know.
Each new FE tablet has an aluminum case with IP68 dust and water resistance. Likewise, both FE tablets are equipped with the Exynos 1580 chip, just like the Galaxy A56 mid-range phone, and benefit from expandable storage, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and optional 5G.
Memory options include 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB for each model. Below you can find more details about how the two FE tablets differ, along with leaked renders for each.
The Galaxy Tab S10 FE sports a 10.9-inch display, presumably of the IPS LCD variety. The panel has a resolution of 2304 x 1440 pixels and works with the S Pen.
The display's refresh rate is unmentioned, but considering the Galaxy Tab S9 FE's specs, the Tab S10 FE may top out at 90Hz.
Samsung's new Fan Edition model of the non-Plus variety has an 8,000mAh battery with 45W charging capabilities.
The selfie camera retains its 12MP resolution from the previous model in the series. However, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE's rear-facing camera received an upgrade to a resolution of 13MP.
Surprisingly, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ has a larger screen than its predecessor. It measures 13.1 inches instead of 12.4 inches. The screen has a resolution of 2880 x 1800. Once again, it's likely a 90Hz IPS LCD. S Pen support is included.
Interestingly enough, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ appears to have a single rear-facing camera. In case you forgot, the Tab S9 FE+ from 2023 has two.
The Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ appears to have abandoned the 8MP ultrawide shooter in favor of a higher-resolution wide unit. It has a 13MP resolution, and the selfie shooter tops out at 12MP.
Because it is a larger model with an even bigger screen than before, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ benefits from a beefier battery with a capacity of 10,090mAh. It has 45W charging capabilities.
According to the source, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE will go on sale in Europe for around €579. The 5G variant will cost €100 more, and likewise, the version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will bump up the price by an additional €100. At most, the Tab S10 FE will cost €779.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ will start at around €749. Likewise, the optional 5G connectivity costs €100 more, and so does the extra memory, meaning that the beefiest Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ configuration could set you back €949.
We don't yet have our hands on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series, but you can check out our Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ review video for a better idea of what Samsung's Fan Edition tablets are about. We'll let you know when Samsung decides to release its new FE tablets. Stay tuned.
