Curious about trying out One UI 8 Android 16 on Samsung's tablets? You don't need to wait for much longer. The company today unveiled the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
The new lineup is Samsung's first to ship with One UI 8 out of the box. So while existing tablet owners wait to get a slice of the company's latest firmware, you can buy a Galaxy Tab S11 model and experience it from day one.
Both the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra come with One UI 8 and Android 16. Samsung has confirmed that they'll receive seven years of Android and security updates. This guarantees support until Android 23 and the equivalent One UI version of that time.
One UI 8 brings a whole host of new features to the tablets. This includes enhanced AI capabilities like Gemini Live, Sticky Note, Writing Assist, enhanced Samsung DeX, and more. S Pen users will love features like Drawing Assist and Quick Tools which enable them to get the most out of the stylus.
Samsung is yet to release One UI 8 for the existing tablets, including last year's flagship Galaxy Tab S10 series. So for a while, the Galaxy Tab S11 models will be the only option for someone who wants to experience One UI 8 on a tablet.
The Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra have gone on sale starting today, they're available in Gray and Silver colors.
