Samsung's long-rumored tri-fold phone may be launched before the end of this year as the Galaxy Z TriFold. Several leaks have provided an idea of how some features of this groundbreaking device will work.
There's now another leak which has surfaced and it shows us an animation of how the Galaxy Z TriFold will unfold.
We've seen animations being extracted from One UI 8.0 builds that reveal some information about the upcoming device. Previous leaks have revealed the device's design, features like wireless charging, and even provided a glimpse of its multi-tasking and UI elements.
The latest leaked animation illustrates how the Galaxy Z TriFold will unfold. One panel folds out from either side of the cover display and when you wish to close it, the right panel folds in and the left panel folds in on top of it.

This particular animation seems to highlight the ability to use the device's main rear camera setup to capture high quality selfies. That's hardly surprising since you can already do this on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. It's only natural for the TriFold to offer this capability as well.
Samsung hasn't confirmed any precise details about this device as yet. It's not clear when the company intends to unveil the device through some rumors suggest it could be unveiled by the end of this month with a limited release in October.
All signs point to very limited availability as Samsung is likely to test the waters first before potentially going for a global launch next year.
