A couple of days ago, Samsung released a software update for the Galaxy Watch 7 in its home country, South Korea, that offered the February 2026 security patch. Now, the brand is rolling it out in more regions, and India is among the first regions to get it.
The update is 394.29MB in size and carries firmware version L315FXXU3BZB4. Samsung may be rolling it out in other regions as we speak. To get it, open the Galaxy Wearable app and go to Watch settings > Watch software update and tap Download and install.
The February 2026 security patch addresses 37 security issues. However, it isn’t the only thing the update offers. The official changelog also says that it improves the device's behaviour. However, there are no in-depth details available about it at the moment. So, we can’t say which aspect of the Galaxy Watch 7 will feel better to use after the update.
Samsung has also detailed the March 2026 security patch. However, the brand hasn’t started rolling it out. The company will first offer it to smartphones and tablets, and then to smartwatches. So, don’t expect the update to arrive on your Galaxy Watch 7 before the end of this month. In the meantime, watch our video below to learn more about the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
