For years, it was rumored that Samsung would launch cheaper foldable phones. And that could finally happen this year. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE (tentative name) is rumored to launch in the second half of the year, and the device has now appeared.
An unannounced Samsung phone with model number SM-F7610 has been spotted (via XpertPick) in the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) database. Its model number makes us believe it is the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE for the Chinese market. The foldable phone was tested with the EP-TA800 charger, which offers a maximum power output of 25W (9V / 2.77A).
You can see the details found in the CCC certification in the image below.
It also reveals that the phone can connect to 5G networks and won't come with a charger in the box. The phone is manufactured by Samsung's factory in Vietnam. No other details about the phone, including its screen size, processor, or battery capacity, have been revealed yet.
A recent report indicated that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will likely launch a few months after the Galaxy Z Flip 7. So, we might be looking at a Q4 2025 launch. It could run Android 15-based One UI 7.0 out of the box and get seven major Android OS updates.
Previous reports claim that the phone will be highly similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 6, featuring a 3.4-inch cover screen as opposed to the Galaxy Z Flip 7's rumored 4-inch edge-to-edge cover screen. It could sport a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x foldable screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz variable refresh rate.
It could come equipped with the 3nm Exynos 2500 chip, which was originally expected to debut with the Galaxy S25. It could have 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It could have a 10MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary rear camera, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The phone could be powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
