The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra might be sharing the limelight with the wider Galaxy Z Fold 8 this year, but it hasn't lost the appeal this model has enjoyed with customers.

Samsung's top-of-the-line foldable appears to have found favor in the United States, with a new report indicating that it's now the top-ranked foldable phone in the country.

According to Consumer Reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra received a perfect score of 5 across all camera and display evaluations, thus earning the highest rating among foldable smartphones in the United States. It was joined in the top spots by siblings the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8.

Consumer Reports runs comprehensive evaluations on devices which it procures itself. The tests are run in-house while real consumer surveys are also a part of its evaluations.

The Galaxy Z Flip 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 both received the top score of 5 for camera performance and ease of use as well. Samsung's latest foldable lineup also scored high in the reliability rating, with all three models in the new series scoring 91 out of 100.

This goes to show that Samsung's latest foldable lineup continues to enjoy considerable appeal among customers, even as it risks being overshadowed by Apple's first attempt at a foldable phone.
