Good Lock users are facing a peculiar issue related to the display of notification icons in AOD mode on Galaxy phones. While users expected Samsung to solve the issue soon, the company said it plans to fix that issue with the One UI 7.0 update, which is months away from reaching stability.
Galaxy S24 users have complained about an issue related to Good Lock's LockStar module. When the lock screen of a Galaxy phone is customized using LockStar, notification icons appear on top of other widgets or UI elements placed on the lock screen. This issue has been present for at least a few weeks, and several people complained about it on the Samsung Community forum.
This issue is due to the Galaxy S24's AOD screen being tied to the lock screen. Hence, any customization done on the lock screen using LockStar isn't saved properly.
Samsung has finally acknowledged (via @tarunvats33) the issue and announced that the bugs will be solved with the One UI 7.0 update. However, the One UI 7.0 beta update hasn't been released yet, and it will take at least a couple of months for the software to reach a stable state. Other phones will get the update even later.
So, if you have this issue, you should expect to keep facing it for at least the next couple of months if you use the Galaxy S24.
