Samsung has plans to launch another tablet in the Galaxy Tab S10 series. It is the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, and its processor was revealed earlier this week. Now, some more specifications of the lower mid-range tablet have leaked, thanks to the necessary FCC certification process.
An unannounced Samsung device with model number SM-X400 recently received certification (via 91Mobiles) from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the USA. It is the Wi-Fi-only variant of the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, and based on the certification documents, it features Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 b/g/n/a/ac/ax), Bluetooth 5.3 (with LE), and an S Pen.
The documents also reveal that the tablet uses the same battery model (EB-BX526ABY made by ATL) as its slightly pricier sibling, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE. So, it should come powered by an 8,000mAh battery. The tablet also features 45W fast charging based on the USB PD PPS standard.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite features pogo pins, too, and they are likely for attaching a keyboard cover. It was already revealed earlier that it is equipped with the Exynos 1380 processor, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. It has a microSD card slot for storage space expansion. The device will be launched with Android 15 (One UI 7.0) onboard.
Based on Samsung's track record, it could launch the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite before the end of this year. It will likely replace the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite that was launched last year.
