Watching Netflix on your Samsung TV just got even better. A few days ago, Netflix announced support for Samsung's HDR10+ format, and it is coming to the South Korean firm's TVs and smart monitors launched in 2025. Now, Netflix has announced it will bring more audio dubbing and subtitles to TVs.
Starting today, Netflix will start showing many more audio dubbing and subtitle languages on TVs. In a blog post, Netflix said, “pick from the full list of available languages for any title when watching Netflix on your TV.” Before this change, the app would show just 5-7 relevant languages, depending on your region and language settings.
In the video below, you can see how the subtitle selection interface would look like on your TV.
You can select different languages for audio dubbing and subtitles. For example, you can choose Spanish audio and English subtitles, which can make watching content on Netflix a great experience for some. This level of flexibility was available on smartphones, tablets, and the web, and it is now available on smart monitors and smart TVs (and video streaming boxes) as well.
