Yesterday, a report about Samsung's next smartphone with a clamshell foldable display, the Galaxy Z Flip 8, claimed that it will not bring any upgrades in terms of battery capacity over its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Now, we are learning that it may not bring any improvements in terms of wired charging speeds either.
A Samsung phone with model number SM-F7760 has been spotted on the 3C platform (via 91Mobiles). Going by the brand's model number convention, this could be the Galaxy Z Flip 8's variant for China. According to the listing, the phone supports charging at a maximum of 9V and 1.67A, which translates to 25W.

Usually, the charging speed that 3C lists for a device is for wired charging rather than wireless. Considering that, it is safe to assume that these numbers are for the Galaxy Z Flip 8's wired charging.
In comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 supports wired charging at up to 25W. It means that the Galaxy Z Flip 8 may feature the same wired charging speed as its predecessor.
