Samsung has launched its first phones running One UI 7.0, and Galaxy Books are getting updated to work with them. The update to the Samsung Settings app for Galaxy Books brings new features and makes the laptops ready to work with phones and tablets running One UI 7.0.
Galaxy Book users can now install the new version of the Samsung Settings app via the Microsoft Store. It brings the One UI 7.0 (Book) update and an update to Samsung System Support (version 7.0.10.0), which can be installed through the Device Care app.
This new update brings a new app called Nearby Devices, which is similar to the Nearby Devices UI introduced with One UI 7.0 on the Galaxy S25. A user who received this update claims that their Galaxy Book 3 Pro now appears on their Galayx S25+ and vice versa. It allows quick and easy control of the Multi Control feature.
Another new app called Storage Share is now available for Galaxy Books that are running One UI 7.0. It appears similar to the Link to Windows app and allows users to access their phone's internal storage (and files) via Windows Explorer.
Samsung also has a new app called ‘Camera Share' for Galaxy Book laptops. It allows users to use their Galaxy phone's camera as a webcam for their Galaxy Book.
Thanks for the tip, Yonis!
