Samsung recently released the One UI 9.0 update for several phones, including the Galaxy A56. With this new update, the phone seems to have received AirDrop compatibility for sharing files wirelessly with Apple devices, including iPads, iPhones, and Macs.
After installing the stable One UI 9.0 firmware on the Galaxy A56, users discovered that Quick Share on the device now supports AirDrop. You can enable the Share with Apple devices toggle to send and receive files with AirDrop-enabled Apple products. However, before you do that, make sure to update Quick Share and its related components to their latest versions from the Galaxy Store.

To access this feature, navigate to Settings > Connected devices > Quick Share and turn on the Share with Apple devices toggle. Once enabled, Apple devices will appear as options when you share any file using Quick Share. However, you will need to ask friends or family members using Apple devices to set their AirDrop visibility to Everyone.
This feature debuted with the Galaxy S26 series earlier this year and has since trickled down to more devices via software updates.
