Samsung recently announced the Galaxy M36 for India, and a few hours ago, the company followed up with a new hype video on YouTube. The presentation and visuals are impressive, as usual, and we thought the video was worth sharing with fans. But then, we noticed something unusual.
Just as we were preparing to share this news, Samsung India nuked its own comment section on YouTube. When we first watched the Galaxy M36 hype video, it had a lot more comments. Most were negative. Then, the comment ticker dropped to zero. But has Samsung solved anything?
New comments are now popping up as we speak, but the message is unchanged. The new comments complain about the same issues. People point out that the Galaxy M36 is a downgrade and complain that Samsung reverted to an inferior Infinity-U cutout while fitting the new M model with a smaller battery.
We had no reason to screenshot the old comments, but here are a couple of screengrabs of new ones.
The criticism seems valid, but we will give Samsung the benefit of the doubt for the time being. Fret not. We are preparing our Galaxy M36 review as we speak, and we will point out any issues we may have with the device. The review should be up soon, so stay tuned.
As for the Samsung Galaxy M36 hype video in question, you can check it out below. We're guessing that more comments will appear, but we can't help wondering if Samsung India will obliterate the comment section again if history repeats itself.
