After launching the Galaxy A26 in India last month, Samsung has launched a new variant of the smartphone with a lower price tag. This new variant comes with lower memory than the other two variants that were launched in the country earlier.
Samsung has launched a new variant of the Galaxy A26, featuring 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, in India. It is priced at INR 23,499 (~$278) and is the cheapest variant of the phone. All the variants of the phone, their memory configurations, and their pricing are listed below.
The Galaxy A26 is available for purchase from Samsung.com, the Samsung Shop app, and many other authorized online and offline stores across India.
The Galaxy A26 sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It has an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. It also featuers a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It runs Android 15 and One UI 7.0 out of the box. The phone will get six major Android OS updates.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A26 with the Exynos 1380 processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and a microSD card slot. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
The phone has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera on the rear. On the front, it has a 13MP camera. It can record 1080p videos using the front camera and 4K videos using its primary rear camera.
