Samsung is bringing a huge UI redesign with the One UI 7.0 (Android 15) update. Those design changes include a redesigned Camera app. Ahead of the release of the update, Samsung has announced another change for the Camera app.
Currently, features like AR Doodle, AR Emoji Camera, AR Emoji Studio, AR Emoji Stickers, Deco Pic, and Quick Measure can be accessed through the stock Camera app's AR Zone section in One UI 6.1.1 (and previous versions). Samsung has announced that AR Zone, Deco Pic, and Quick Measure will be converted to standalone apps with One UI 7.0.
This announcement came through a pop-up notice in AR Doodle, AR Zone, Deco Pic, and Quick Measure add-ons in the Camera app. Samsung also announced that it will rename AR Emoji to Galaxy Avatar with One UI 7.0.
The AR Zone, AR Doodle, Deco Pic, and Quick Measure apps can be downloaded from the Galaxy Store. Samsung apologized for the change in advance, in case it causes users inconvenience.

Samsung might make additional changes to its stock apps with the upcoming version of One UI, which could be released in stable form early next year. The Galaxy S24 will likely be the first phone to get the update, and a beta version of the update is rumored to come on November 17.
