Last month, evidence suggesting that Samsung was planning to open the One UI 9.0 (Android 17) beta program for the Galaxy A54 surfaced online. The brand's decision to expand the program to more affordable smartphones, such as the Galaxy A15 and the Galaxy A07, further fueled expectations that the Galaxy A54 would also receive the beta version of the new software. Now, the company has finally made it official.

Samsung has opened the One UI 9.0 (Android 17) beta program for the Galaxy A54. The brand has made it available in India. The update is 2,581.07MB in size and carries firmware version A546EXXUNZZI4. It enables people to experience the new software before the brand releases its stable version. The update also brings the September 2026 security patch, which fixes 90 security issues present in the previous OS.

You can get the beta version of One UI 9.0 on your Galaxy A54 by opening the Samsung Members app, finding and tapping on the banner for the new software's beta program for the phone, enrolling your device in it, and going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
