Samsung is rolling out an update to Good Lock’s Sound Assistant module. It changes the app’s version to 8.2.00.4 and brings three changes. You can check out the official changelog below

The first two changes that Samsung has mentioned in the changelog are not clear or not self-explanatory, and when we installed the update on our Galaxy S25 to understand what they do, we couldn’t spot any differences compared to the previous version of the app. So, it looks like those are under-the-hood improvements.
As for the third change that the update brings to Sound Assistant, it looks like when you customise the audio equaliser, it applies those settings to audio that the device is sending to Bluetooth devices, which may not have been the case before. However, we may have to dig deeper into it to know exactly what it does.
To update Sound Assistant to the latest version, go to the Galaxy Store, tap the hamburger menu icon on the top-left corner of the screen, select Updates, and tap on the update icon beside the app listing or the Update all button on the top-right corner of the display. Samsung seems to be rolling out the update globally.
