In an unexpected move, Samsung has released the stable version of One UI 9.0 (Android 17) for the Galaxy A27. The brand is currently offering the update in its home country, South Korea, where the smartphone is known as the Galaxy Jump 5.
The update carries firmware version A276KKSU3BZIF, according to Tarun Vats. However, details such as its download size are not available at the moment. With the stable version now out, the new software's beta program has come to an end.
Samsung should release the stable One UI 9.0 update for the Galaxy A27 in other countries over the next few days. You can check its availability and get it by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. You can check out the changes it brings in our video at the end of this post.
Samsung usually rolls out the stable version of a new One UI build to its latest and high-end devices first before gradually bringing it to older and more affordable models. However, the company appears to be taking a different approach with One UI 9.0.
Samsung initially released the stable One UI 9.0 update for a handful of newer, high-end devices, including models in the Galaxy Z and Galaxy S series. However, a few Galaxy Z and Galaxy S series devices, as well as newer and higher-end Galaxy A series devices, are still waiting to receive the update. The Galaxy A27’s access to the stable release is therefore all the more surprising.
