Samsung keeps making some innovative moves in the home appliances category. After launching new refrigerators with big touchscreen displays earlier this year, the company has now launched its first Kitchen Fit Max series refrigerator that can showcase your food, if that is what you want.

The new refrigerator is now available in South Korea.

The Bespoke AI Hybrid KitchenFit Max is Samsung's first refrigerator in the Kitchen Fit Max series that comes with an optional ‘Food Showcase' door. This door has a transparent window from which you can see your food. You can keep frequently used items in this section, such as drinks and sauces, and access them quickly.

Samsung's Kitchen Fit Max series home appliances can be installed seamlessly with into your existing kitchen furniture, such as cabinets and cupboards. The company uses thinner insulation doors so that the appliances in this series have reduced overall depth.

Kitchen Fit Max refrigerators can be installed in cabinets with just 4mm space on the left and the right, and their doors can be opened by more than 90 degrees for easier access.

The Bespoke AI Hybrid KitchenFit Max has several AI technologies, including AI Hybrid Cooling that controls the internal temperature using semiconductor elements to keep food fresh for longer. The AI Screen feature allows you to manage food and even enjoy photos and videos on the display. The AI Vision Inside feature keeps a track of food items that are being stored inside and taken out. You can use Bixby to control the refrigerator's settings or control other smart home products.

In South Korea, the price of the Bespoke AI Hybrid KitchenFit Max refrigerator starts at KRW 3.79 million (~$2,650) for the version with the Food Showcase Door and goes as high as KRW 4.49 million (~$3,140), depending on the capacity and color of the exact model.

Consumers who buy this refrigerator and register it on Samsung.com with their purchase receipt and serial number will be eligible to get an airtight containers worth KRW 300,000 (~$210). The company will also offer various gifts to buyers who upload shortform videos of the refrigerator on their personal Instagram and YouTube profiles.
