Development of the Galaxy S25 Slim is picking up steam just days before the other Galaxy S25 models are set to go official. Following a leak that gave us our first look at the slimmer Galaxy S25, firmware for the device have been spotted on Samsung's servers (via Tarun Vats).
This is an important discovery. While there have been many rumors about the Galaxy S25 Slim, there have been very few signs of the phone being in active development. But that has changed recently, and we can expect many more Galaxy S25 leaks in the coming weeks.
Galaxy S25 Slim firmware have been spotted for Europe and several Asian markets including India and the UAE. It remains to be seen how widely available this phone will be. Its spiritual predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which was dubbed the Slim variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in rumors, is extremely elusive and is only sold in Korea and China.
The Galaxy S25 Slim won't launch alongside the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. We could get a short teaser at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, but that's only speculation at this time. We'll let you know when we get more information, so stay tuned.
