Samsung has just teased a collaboration with BTS member J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok) for the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The popular K-pop singer was spotted using the phone even before its official announcement, and Samsung has a long history of partnering with the music group for its devices.
In a post on X, Samsung published a video showing J-Hope making some brilliant moves with the lavender Galaxy Z Fold 8 in his hands. However, it remains unclear whether this collaboration is strictly for marketing or if there will be a special BTS Edition of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, similar to previous-generation foldable phones.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8, with its new wide and short form factor, has impressed a large audience. The phone has sold quite well and surpassed the sales figures of older Galaxy Z series models. Just a few days after its launch, however, Apple unveiled its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, which is expected to eventually overtake the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in total sales.
To maintain momentum, Samsung is heavily promoting the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and has already dropped its price in the US. Although the phone launched at $1,900, the device is now selling for as low as $1,550 directly through Samsung's website.
The collaboration with J-Hope appears to be a key part of this broader promotional push.
