The day that Galaxy A17 5G users have been waiting for a long time is finally here. Samsung has released One UI 9.0 (Android 17) for the phone via a new over-the-air (OTA) software update.
As some of you may have expected, the brand is offering the update first in its home country, South Korea. The update carries firmware version A176LKSU4CZJ5 (via Mohammed Khatri).
After releasing an update first in its home country, Samsung starts rolling it out in other regions a few days later. Considering that, the Galaxy A17 units in other markets should get the update offering One UI 9.0 very soon. You can check its availability and get it by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
After installing One UI 9.0, you will notice multiple changes and upgrades. For starters, you will see some of the UI elements with a slightly more refined design, but that's not all. You also get more Quick Panel customization options, enhancements to Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes, and accessibility features, and a location privacy indicator.
