Samsung and Universal Pictures have joined forces once more to bring the Music Frame WICKED Edition smart speaker to one more market, India, just in time to celebrate the theatrical release of Wicked in dozens of markets.
Samsung fans in India might not need an introduction to the original Music Frame. It's a clever album-sized smart speaker that has interchangeable art panels. And it was released in India earlier this year.
In essence, it's like a picture frame that has built-in speakers with Q-Symphony capabilities, Dolby ATMOS, and other cool tech. You get things like two-channel 120W sound with SpaceFit Sound Pro, Adaptive Sound, Tap Sound, AirPlay, Alexa, Chromecast, and more.
In terms of connectivity, the Music Frame — WICKED or not — offers Bluetooth, WI-Fi, and Optical-out.
On the other hand, the Music Frame WICKED Edition has the same specs as the standard model but comes with some extra goodies themed after the Wicked movie.
The box includes a Wicked-themed bezel, a photo mat, and three exclusive Wicked photo cards, which you can use to change the look of your smart speaker. Oh, and the packaging is also a little bit more special.
The standard Music Frame was released in India in April. Today, Samsung confirmed that the Music Frame WICKED Edition will be available from November 24.

Finally, the price. Samsung says it will launch the Music Frame WICKED Edition in India for INR 23,990 ($284), which is quite a nice surprise, considering that the standard Music Frame costs the same after an INR 13,910 discount.
In most markets, the WICKED Edition costs more than the standard model, but prospective buyers in India seem to benefit from a better offer.
