The Bespoke AI Jet Ultra was one of our favorite Samsung products in 2025, but we're starting to wonder if Samsung has any plans for a sequel. As a matter of fact, we've been keeping an eye on Samsung's vacuum strategy for the past year, and things are starting to look a little worrying.
Is Samsung planning to slow down or exit the vacuum cleaner market?
There already is a precedent. Samsung stopped selling home appliances and TVs in China earlier this year due to aggressive pricing from domestic home appliance brands.
That decision took everyone by surprise. And with few rumors floating, it's hard to tell whether Samsung is thinking of a similar exit for its Bespoke vacuum lineup in other markets. Is Samsung planning another unwanted surprise?
Recently, we tried to find an answer, but what we uncovered is a little disheartening. We're beginning to seriously question if Samsung is indeed thinking of a restructuring, or worse. Here's what we've observed:
- Bespoke stocks are dwindling in many markets we've checked. You can barely find Bespoke models on sale anymore (as of October 2026).
- The best cordless model, the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra, never got a sequel. No signs point to one at the moment.
- The impressive Bespoke AI robot model that climbs obstacles never went on sale after its IFA 2025 presentation.
- Samsung didn't present any vacuums at IFA 2026, new or old.
- This year, Samsung expanded the cordless vacuum cleaner lineup in Europe with only a couple of non-Bespoke Jet models that don't have a Clean Station or as many smart features as the Ultra.
Samsung is planning something, but what is it?
The way things are as of this writing points to two possible outcomes for Samsung's vacuum cleaner business:
- Samsung is either planning something big, like a completely new Bespoke vacuum series for 2027, which it has so far successfully kept under wraps.
- Or worse, Samsung may have halted its vacuum cleaner production plans everywhere and is simply waiting for stocks to deplete and the right moment to announce an exit.
The latter possibility was rumored earlier this summer, but some of us found it hard to believe. Now it seems more plausible, particularly because Samsung hasn't showcased any vacuums at IFA 2026 in September, despite the fact that the company had a whole area dedicated to “AI Living” and its connected ecosystem.
We will keep you posted if we find out more.
