Samsung has revealed that the Camera Assistant app will now support even more Galaxy phones and tablets. As the company expands the rollout of One UI 8.5, it is also extending Camera Assistant support to more devices.
The Camera Assistant app will soon support 19 additional Galaxy devices with One UI 8.5. The list includes several mid-range Galaxy A series and Galaxy M series phones, along with premium tablets from the Galaxy Tab S lineup, including the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series.

Camera Assistant is Samsung's advanced customization app that allows users to fine-tune the behavior of the stock Camera app on Galaxy devices through additional settings and controls.
For example, users can enable or disable automatic lens switching, adjust picture softening levels, add extra zoom shortcuts, and prioritize focus accuracy over capture speed. The app also allows users to adjust autofocus speed and sensitivity for both photo and video modes.
Other features include the ability to change the number of shots captured when using the timer, enable or disable Auto HDR, toggle video softening, and activate HDR10+ video recording.
