The Galaxy S25 Ultra clearly has the best camera hardware Samsung has ever put in its smartphones. It brings an upgraded 50MP ultrawide camera sensor and improved image processing algorithms. So, how good are the phone's cameras?
We captured a few images using the Galaxy S25 Ultra's camera, which you can find below.
After getting hold of the Galaxy S25 Ultra after the Galaxy Unpacked event, we captured some photos of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and some images in India. The images were shot using the phone's ultrawide (0.6x), primary (1x), and telephoto (3x and 5x) cameras. You can see those camera samples (0.6x, 1x, 3x, 5x, 10x, and 30x) in the image gallery below.
There's nothing special to note here. We will do a deeper dive with the camera to see how the camera experience and quality have improved. We will test the phone's cameras in mixed-light and low-light conditions as well, and you can read all about it in our upcoming review.
We also captured some images of people, and you can find those samples in the image gallery below. These samples were captured at different zoom levels.
You can also check out our hands-on experience with the Galaxy S25 Ultra in our video below.
Samsung claims that its new flagship phone uses an improved ProVisual engine that reduces noise and improves details and dynamic range. It has also introduced something called Spatio Temporal Filter, which is a mechanism that identifies and distinguishes static (stationary) and moving subjects in the frame and processes them differently so that everything is sharp.
Hopefully, the company has solved the motion blur issue that is often found in Samsung smartphones. Another area of improvement is noise in low-light images and videos.
