It won't be a Samsung phone launch without everything leaking a couple of weeks before. While Samsung hasn't even confirmed the launch date yet, which we exclusively told you is May 13, all official press images of the device and information about the device has been leaked.
Almost all of it is already known, from the strikingly slim measurements to the chipset and camera details, but it's the price in Europe that's going to make a lot of people think twice before they open up their wallets.
The information has been leaked by Winfuture which typically comes out with stuff like this ahead of a major Samsung launch. The renders show us the three different color options that will be offered – Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Icyblue, and Titanium Silver.
The device's USP is its 5.85mm slim metal shell which makes it one of the slimmest phones Samsung has ever released. It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 3120×1440 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The Galaxy S25 Edge features the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset that's used across the entire Galaxy S25 lineup. It's paired with 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage. No microSD card slot here, obviously.
One of the ways Samsung slimmed this phone down so much is by removing the dedicated zoom camera. Its rear camera setup includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperature and 85-degree field of view and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and 120-degree field of view. There's a 12-megapixel selfie camera as well.
The device weighs 163 grams and has an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. There's a 3,900mAh battery, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 7 support. It ships with One UI 7 and has all of the Galaxy AI features you'll find on the Galaxy S25 series.
After it's unveiled on May 13, the Galaxy S25 Edge will be launched in Europe by the end of May with prices starting at 1,249 euro for 256GB and 1,369 for 512GB models. To put that into perspective, that's 170 euro more than the base Galaxy S25 and just 20 euro less than the Galaxy S25+. These are the prices for Germany and typically you'll see them in the same range for most European markets.
That's quite the premium customers in Europe will pay over customers in the US, who can expect to pay ~$1,049 and ~$1,140 for the 256/512GB variants respectively.
