Samsung is going to launch the stable One UI 8 update for eligible devices in the near future. The company is already tested the firmware for many devices, even those that won't get a beta program, internally.
The Galaxy A34 One UI 8 update internal test build has now been spotted, confirming that Samsung is dotting the T's and crossing the I's on the firmware before it's released.
As spotted on X, firmware version A346BXXUAEYG3 for the international variant of the device has appeared on Samsung's servers. This lets us know in no uncertain terms that there has been progress on the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy A34.
Given that this is a mid-range device, it may not be given priority for public release once One UI 8 starts rolling out. Samsung typically gives priority to existing and older eligible flagship devices first, such as the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series phones.
It then moves further down the line to the Galaxy A series once it's done rolling out the update to those devices. That's likely going to be the case with the One UI 8 release in the coming months as well. So Galaxy A34 owners may have to wait for a bit more once Samsung starts sending out the stable version.
Samsung has only released One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S25 series so far. If you're so inclined to get your hands on the stable version, then your only option right now is to pre-order a Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Galaxy Z Flip 7, as they're both shipping with One UI 8 out of the box.
