Samsung is close to finishing the One UI 9.0 rollout for all eligible Galaxy devices. Now, the company seems nearly ready to launch the One UI 9.5 Beta Program, as the next major update has started to appear on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
A beta build of One UI 9.5 for the Galaxy S26 Ultra was recently spotted (via @Kailash0729) on Samsung's servers carrying firmware version S948BXXU6ZZK3. This indicates that the company could open beta registrations soon.
Judging by the newly spotted firmware string, Samsung has also upgraded the phone's bootloader version from U5 to U6.
Based on Samsung's recent track record, we expect the One UI 9.5 Beta Program to go live later this month or early next month. The update is based on Android 17, and its stable version could debut on the Galaxy S27 series early next year.
