Samsung today announced a three-year partnership with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, envisioning it as an opportunity to fuse art and technology. Samsung's technology is powering a new audio tour at the museum to bridge the gap between the art and Van Gogh's life story.
Located in the Museum Square in Amsterdam South, the Van Gogh Museum proudly showcases the works of the late artist and his contemporaries.
The Van Gogh Museum houses the world's largest collection of Vincent van Gogh's art and that from his contemporaries. Samsung finds synergy between its commitment to renewal and innovation and the artist's innovative ideas surrounding the use of paint, color, and light. Van Gogh was known for reinventing his artistic style again and again.
To commemorate this partnership, visitors will get to experience a unique display next month that's inspired by Van Gogh's masterpiece Almond Blossom. The piece symbolizes a new beginning, and will be featured in the renewed audio tour starting June 10.
The Galaxy S25+ powers the renewed audio tour at the museum. Visitors will get to learn more about the art and the person behind it. This multi-year partnership will also see Samsung and the Van Gogh Museum find new ways to use technology for improving the visitor experience.
