In recent years, Samsung Electronics focused mainly on trade shows such as CES and IFA, alongside its in-house Unpacked events and Display/developer forums. New reports from Korean suggest that Samsung will expand its event schedule this year and rejoin Computex 2025 after 13 years of absence.
Computex is one of the world's largest computer and technology trade shows. The expo takes place every year in Taiwan, but Samsung hasn't attended since 2012.
As the tech segment is shifting toward AI technologies powered by advanced semiconductor solutions, more companies are now paying closer attention to Computex.
Industry giants are looking to establish new partnerships for the new era, and Computex is a good launch platform for new collaborations. The next trade show is scheduled to take place from May 20th to 23rd.

Although Computex used to be centered mainly around PC components such as graphics cards and motherboards, the computing industry's AI efforts in recent years have shifted the overarching theme of Computex to include AI solutions and hardware.
Reports (via Business Korea) say Samsung may return to Computex in 2025, where the company could showcase AI-related tech, semiconductor solutions, and its high-bandwidth memory (HBM).
One of Samsung's memory rivals, SK Hynix, will also attend Computex 2025, where it will reportedly show off its next-gen HBM4 solutions.
